The location was excellent to other local restaurants in Reading. I had an absolutely fantastic and exceptional room with shower, A/C and including a fridge.

Plenty of brilliant food at breakfast time. Spotless and delightful room with temperature so hot, and good pool. Decent location to Nirvana Spa. Set near a railway station, and other local restaurants in Reading in the lovely area.

The hotel was beautifully presented, witrh excellent facilities and car parking.
The fire alarm! When we checked in at 2.00 pm there was a sign at reception to say there would be a fire practice at 3.00pm. The fire alarm went off at 5.00pm so we vacated our room, only to be told by the reception staff, who seemed to find the situation amusing, that it was the fire drill two hours later than advised.

It was an excellent hotel. Very comfortable and very pleasant.
The attitude of the man on room service. We were assured we could get something to eat late at night and he made it very obvious it was all too much hassle. We did not eat and had not eaten since lunch time that day!! Which was why I specifically asked before we went if a sandwich would be available.Very disappointed and pretty hungry too!!

Nice - we particularly enjoyed the facilities in the spa area.
Drinks from the bar were very expensive. We had to queue 20 minutes to check out!!!

The hotel is new and the decor is wonderfully contemporary. The facilities are excellent - rooms are very comfortable/well equipped (including air conditioning) and we appreciated the spa centre with its well maintained swimming pool and sauna/steam rooms. The hotel is conveniently situated for Reading and Wokingham. It was very nice to have an underground car park with easy access to the hotel. A good choice of food for breakfast.
we have no real complaints except the fact that there was no free internet which is not acceptable in this day and age. The hotel is new and we felt that the bar/lounge areas lacked the cosiness or character of a more established hotel, but this could simply be attributed to the fact that we stayed there at a quiet time.

Spa, food and service
Nothing. It was very good. Considering its a holiday inn I was very impressed. I just hope this standard lasts and isn't because its only been open a year. I've stayed in many many holiday inns all over the country and none of them have come even close to this one. Please dont let the standards slip. Very impressed

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend escape in Reading with great value. The Indian food was excellent, particularly the Chicken Madras and those buttery parathas. Make sure to try the restaurant's dinner menu for a great culinary experience.

Clean premises, easy to get to. dinner very good.
Breakfast was expensive at £15 as we weren't booked in for b & b althought would have been nice altogether price. So the first day we just opted for the breakfast in the bar, which wasn't extensive. i feel that because i booked 3 wks ago the price was reasonable but howvever booked a further night 2 nights before we arrived 5 July &.the price was £50 dearer. it was said on Booked.net that it was busy in Reading. However i only knew of the Graduation @ Reading uni which was our purpose of staying at the hotel. i looked at the prices yesterday for booking in yesterday & there was a reduction from £142 to £59 and you didn't have to give notice. Also i see that breakfast was included. I feel the business people geta better deal as i think they get their breakfast included. i think in this day and age the prices could be better and I came away after paying out quite a bit of money. Several other people complained about having to insert your room card into the lift in order to go upstairs. i have never come across this before. i did ask for a ground floor room but this was denied, also asked again on arrival, still this was denied.
